Overview

Flash Design and Actionscripting is something we have been working on since 1998. Since completion of the Advanced Actionscript Certification from Macromedia through the University of Victoria, our flash programmers have worked on several projects, ranging from interface design to Actionscript based animation.

The most common use of Flash in our experience has been integrating flash movies with HTML and dynamic web sites, to provide a more engaging and professional interface. In the past we have worked on sites based completely in Flash, but these are most often smaller projects such as artist portfolios, elearning apps, or concept demonstrations.

Our experience with Actionscripting is based in interface design and animation. Creating 3d shapes and objects using scripting, or visual effects keeping the movies small and compact allowing the transfer of high quality effects over the web without unnecessary download time.

This style of design allows companies to develop very smooth, sophisticated animations over the web without limiting their audience by bloated Flash movies. Especially appropriate for Elearning applications where the audience quite often using a low bandwidth connection.
